On-Site Cycle Repair

Cycle Systems’ service is unique. A highly skilled, professionally trained cycle mechanic travels to your organisation or place of work by heavy-duty freight bike and sets up a comprehensive mobile workshop. Employees or students drop their bikes off for repair in the morning and return later that day to pick up. The employer or organisation pays for Cycle Systems’ labour charge, and the employee or student pays for parts used during the repair. The service works beautifully and is hugely appreciated by staff as they are provided with a regular, cheap, convenient and skilled service which helps keep them cycling and happy! Cyclists often report to us that they can wait for up to a month to be able to get their bike into their local bike shop and they have to take time out of their busy schedules to get there. Our customers are always astounded by the simplicity and practicality of our service. Our current contracts include: Transport for London pan-London Cycle Servicing for Employees, Transport for London Cycle Maintenance for the Mayor’s Cycle Superhighways, the London Borough of Islington, the Greater London Authority, Skyride, Aviva Investors, Clifford Chance, Broadgate Estates, Department for Culture Media and Sport, Department for Environment and Climate Change etc.

Accredited Cycle Maintenance Courses

Cycle maintenance trainingCycle Systems provides on-site cycle maintenance courses that are flexible to the needs of their clients. For example, a police force, on modern, high-tech mountain bikes with hydraulic braking and suspension systems, will obviously require a completely different type of training to a commuter who has just bought their first, entry-level bike. Classes can be tailored to start and finish at any level and provide a mixture of hands-on work and demonstration. Cycle Systems provides all tools and spare parts required and the students bring their own bike to work on. Some examples of course content include: punctures; brakes; gears and bearings. Classes can also run at a time and duration to suit. Experience has shown us that the average course is 8 hours long and spread over two half days or four evenings/mornings. There are no more than five students per course.
