City and Guilds VSQ in Cycle Maintenance and Repair

The Academy course offers a full accreditation in the City and Guilds VSQ in Cycle Maintenance and Repair and will therefore give you an internationally recognized certificate in the highest qualification available in cycle mechanics. Crucially, this accreditation is available to you even if you do not currently work within the cycle trade so you do not need a work placement to study with us. The Cycle Systems Academy is based at a 2000 square foot state of the art training facility at a picturesque site next to Regents canal in Central London. All equipment is brand new and up to date and the cycling buzz is all around you.

Syllabus
The course is suitable for everyone, whether you struggle to change an inner tube or you’re already working in the trade. Practically orientated lessons from highly experienced tutors mean students will leave will a full, professional working knowledge of the following systems:
Frames and Forks, Transmission, Brakes, Bearings, Wheel Building,
The Cycle Industry, Accessories and Lighting, British Safety Standards.
